Word Art, Slogans, and Manifestos
As we enter an increasingly AI future, do we lose ourselves in artificial art, slogans, and manifestos? Or do we gain new ways to see the world?
How long before we are tested to check we aren’t AI-enhanced or even robots?
How long before we are subjected to something like the Voight-Kampff test used by the LAPD's Blade Runners? Or is all our work checked by AI against past work – in the same way, university papers are now checked for plagiarism with software like Turnitin Solutions? There's a line between it enhancing us and replacing us!
Enclosed here are four works by AI-assisted dreams.
1) A redesigned AI-generated slogan and image for Haus-A-Rest.
2) Two, word clouds of my poems for 2024 – all words condensed and finite.
3) Two poems – free form and Haiku. Are they any good? Do you enjoy them? Or do we only make them good by what we bring to the work?
As a friend wrote “It is quite good isn't it?! But it has that feeling that it is words arranged well but there is no heart in it. But AI is a terrifying beast!”
